Community basketball, run by volunteers
The Scarborough Junior Basketball Club — the Sharks — fields junior teams in the Perry Lakes Hawks Junior Basketball Competition. Founded in 1987, we've grown into one of the area's largest junior clubs while keeping the same focus: giving local kids a positive, welcoming place to play.
Whether your child is picking up a ball for the first time or already competing, there's a place for them here.
- Welcoming players of all abilities, from beginners to representative level
- A safe, inclusive and family-friendly environment
- Emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship and having fun
- Run entirely by volunteer parents and committee members
